The Rose City Athletic Organization o/a Aikido Canada, is a federally registered Non-Profit Charitable Corporation which relies on local fundraising events as well as donations from businesses, groups and individuals to support our efforts to assist the needs of underprivileged children, youth, and families within our community.

Pinery Trip 2010 - Pinery Provincial Park
The dojo's annual Labour Day weekend camping trip is officially on and is scheduled for September 3rd - 6th, 2010. The site has already been booked so if you are interested in attending please speak to contact us by email or call 519-253-6667 for more information. There are a limited number of spots due to the sites being booked so early this year. Register early to be sure you don't miss out.
General Aikido Seminars
The following locations are hosting general seminars during the dates indicated.
Shioda Gozo Festival - Honbu Dojo, Japan
The Shioda Gozo Festival, celebrating the 55th anniversary of the creation of the Yoshinkan will be held November 20-21st, 2010. Saturday will be a demonstration and an evening ceremony/party. Sunday will be a clinic featuring Kancho Sensei, Takeno Sensei, Ando Senseiand Parker Sensei. Approximate cost for Honbu training plus clinic and party is 10,000 yen per person. Training at associate branches is 1,000 yen per day. The first 20 registered individuals have the option of accomodations at the dojo free is they choose. Local accomodations will vary from 5,000-6,000 yen to upwards of 10,000 yen depending on the hotel's standing.
As of this date, Kyoshi Blok will be attending and number of students from the Chudokan will be accompanying him. The projected cost for the training, to cover two (2) days is approximately $120.00. For those who are interested in travelling as a group, an effort will be made to acquire discount travel pricing on airfare, rail passes and accomodations assuming sufficient numbers of individuals are able to attend.
